Mike DiRubbo
I spoke with Mike DiRubbo about his time at Hart studying under Jackie McLean and also about his latest record “Chronos” now out on Positone Records. He’s a humble guy who views jazz music as fraction of the picture. He feels that when you start to separate music from your life, thats when things become sterile and academic. I couldn’t agree more.
