ALEXANDER ARIFF
Alexander Ariff is the founder, creator and editor of Hardbop. He earned his BA in Jazz Studies at Florida State University and is a current MA candidate in Jazz History & Research from Rutgers University. Ariff hails from Baltimore, MD and is a saxophonist, songwriter and composer fronting his own band “Sheriff Ariff & The Wali Sanga“.
STEVEN LEWIS
Steven Lewis hails from Atlanta, GA and is currently enrolled in the Jazz Studies program at The Florida State University. As a saxophonist and a aspiring jazz scholar, Lewis provides reviews of live performances in his current city Tallahassee, FL and surrounding areas.
